The ChatPRD Slackbot is your AI-powered product management assistant within Slack 🤖. It's designed to seamlessly integrate with your workflow, making document management and team collaboration more efficient than ever before. Whether you're crafting PRDs, seeking feedback, or staying updated on project milestones, ChatPRD has got you covered!

Here's what's included:

• 🔔 Instant Notifications: Receive real-time updates whenever a thread is shared by your teammates, keeping you in the loop on development.
• 💬 Chat with ChatPRD in Slack: Get product coaching, document ideas, and brainstorming right where you and your team do work in Slack.

Installing the ChatPRD Slack App:

Navigate to Integrations: Start by heading to the Integrations page in your workspace.

Connect: Click "Connect" to start the installation process.

Click "Allow": Grant permission to integrate with your Slack workspace.

Configuration: Ensure you have admin rights and follow the prompts to complete the setup.

There are user and admin controls to turn this feature on and off for users. Depending on your setup you may need to adjust these to see the new container. Open your preferences by selecting Slack, then Settings -> Navigation.

If you select the Show App Agents option, you will be able to open the app through the new entry point on the upper right of the Slack client and clicking it opens the split-view container.

How to Use the Slack App:

Utilizing the /chat Command:

• Starting a Chat: Type /chat followed by your query in any channel.
• What It Does: Engage in productive conversations, quickly access information, and gain insights with real-time interaction.

Directly Message ChatPRD:

• Direct Communication: Send a direct message to @chatprd in your Slack workspace.
• What It Offers: Get immediate assistance with product management tasks, document creation ideas, and more, right within your workspace.

Slack Notifications:

• Team Access Notifications: When a team member makes a document or chat visible to their team, team members will get notified in Slack. The notification will also include a link so you can navigate directly to the new chat or document.
