What's New: Simpler Plans, Cleaner Template Management, and Customized Verbosity

This week, we've simplified our plans, made templates easier to manage, and fixed a bunch of little UX bugs.

🤑 New plans (with more features coming soon!)

We now have simpler ChatPRD plans for everyone, making it easier for you to pick the right version of ChatPRD for you. We're also going to be loading these plans with lots of new features (at no additional cost!) through the end of the year.... so keep your eyes out.

ChatPRD Pro: Plan for individuals or ICs trying out the platform solo, starting at $15 / month (billed annually.) You get all our individual integrations, custom templates, unlimited chats and docs--the works!
ChatPRD Teams: The right option for anyone coming to ChatPRD with a team - collaboration, Linear agents, and shared context to scale across your org. Starting at $29 / seat / month billed annually.
ChatPRD Enterprise: Need all the security, contracting, SSO things? Our team can help you with our enterprise offering!

We've also made it easier to upgrade & manage your plan in our billing center!

📝 Improved Template Management

We've redesigned the template library to make it easier for you to manage and understand what templates are available to you! We now break templates into custom templates and ChatPRD templates, and simplify the process of sharing, editing, and viewing our template content.

✍️ Writing Mode: Verbosity, Template Organization, and new Models

Writing in ChatPRD just got smarter and more configurable:

Verbosity Adjustments: Toggle between concise, balanced, or detailed writing, so ChatPRD writes exactly how much (or how little!) you want.
Advanced Models: We continue to add more models for our Pro+ users, including both OpenAI GPT and Anthropic Claude models.
Template organization: Our templates are more sensibly organized making it easier to find and select the right template for you.

🐛 Bug fixes and minor tweaks

We did a lot of work this week behind the scenes upgrading our front end experience and working on UX polish.

Dark mode fixes across the app ensure you can use ChatPRD in the theme you prefer.
Document tables are now consistently reliable, preventing accidental data loss and formatting errors.
Enhanced chat error handling for uploads, long message threads, and error states.
