Atlassian Connector (Jira & Confluence)

The Atlassian MCP connector lets ChatPRD access your Jira issues and Confluence pages directly in chat. Use it to keep product work aligned with your Atlassian workspace, search for documentation, and manage issues.

Setup

  1. Go to Settings > Integrations.
  2. Scroll to "MCPs and Connectors" and click Atlassian.
  3. Authorize ChatPRD to access your Atlassian account via OAuth.
  4. Once connected, enable Atlassian in the Tool Selector (wrench icon) for any chat.

With Jira:

  • Search for issues, epics, and projects.
  • Check sprint status and team workload.
  • Create or update Jira issues from product discussions or PRD breakdowns.
  • Look up issue details including status, assignee, and priority.

With Confluence:

  • Search for pages, specs, runbooks, and other documentation.
  • Find existing content to reference when writing new documents.
  • Pull context from Confluence into your ChatPRD conversations.
