Bolt Integration

Overview

Bolt is an AI-powered tool that rapidly scaffolds full-stack web applications from a prompt. The "Open in Bolt" connector sends your document content to Bolt.new, where it is used to generate a working web app based on your PRD.

How it works

1. Open any document in ChatPRD.
2. Click the "Open in" dropdown button in the document toolbar.
3. Select "Bolt" from the menu.
4. ChatPRD compresses your document into an optimized prompt focused on app goals, features, and routes.
5. Bolt.new opens in a new tab with your prompt pre-loaded, ready to scaffold your app.

What gets sent

• A compressed prompt emphasizing concrete app goals, key features, core pages/routes, and required integrations.

Requirements

• A ChatPRD account (available on all plans).
• A Bolt.new account.

Tips

• Include clear feature lists and route structures in your PRD for best scaffolding results.
• Specify technology preferences (e.g. React, Vue, Svelte) in your document for more targeted output.
• You can edit the compressed prompt before sending it to Bolt for fine-tuning.
