Magic Patterns Integration

Overview

Magic Patterns is an AI-powered design prototyping tool. The "Open in Magic Patterns" connector sends your PRD content to Magic Patterns, where it is used to generate UI prototypes and design explorations based on your document.

How it works

1. Open any document in ChatPRD.
2. Click the "Open in" dropdown button in the document toolbar.
3. Select "Magic Patterns" from the menu.
4. ChatPRD compresses your document with a focus on screens, layout, visual hierarchy, and UX states.
5. Magic Patterns opens in a new tab with your prompt pre-loaded, ready to generate prototypes.

What gets sent

• A compressed prompt focused on screens, layout, visual hierarchy, style guidelines, and UX states.

Requirements

• A ChatPRD account (available on all plans).
• A Magic Patterns account.

Tips

• Include wireframe descriptions and user flow details in your PRD for richer prototypes.
• Describe visual styles, color palettes, and component patterns for better design output.
• You can edit the compressed prompt before sending it to Magic Patterns for fine-tuning.
